The People’s Science is coming to Eugene!
The Campus Tour will provide scientists with formal training in effectively communicating their work to the public. The afternoon will include a workshop on science communication as well as an opportunity to practice writing for a lay audience. Lunch will be provided to workshop attendees as a generous donation from our local sponsor, the University of Oregon Graduate School. Spots are limited and are available on a first come, first-served basis.
Graduate students, postdocs, research staff, and faculty are encouraged to apply!

WANT ADVANCED TRAINING?
The People's Science team is offering advanced training for those interested in becoming ambassadors for sharing science. This training will take place the day before the main workshop, Thursday, February 22nd, from 5-7PM, on the University of Oregon campus.
This special session will provide one-on-one training with science communication experts to prepare attendees to coach science communication techniques during the main workshop, and beyond. Limited spots are available for this intensive training. Register via the above link.
